The ideal applicant is a detail-oriented professional who is also analytically adept and comfortable working under pressure. They need multitasking skills and strong communication abilities to effectively interact with suppliers, clients, and coworkers.
Logistics/Warehouse Officers need to be well-versed in customs policies, import/export protocols, and clearance procedures. The ideal applicant will have worked with shipping and handling paperwork, negotiated freight prices, and tracked shipments before.
The ideal applicant also has the organisational abilities necessary to manage warehouse tasks including stocking, taking stock, and shipping and receiving. Reporting, data analysis, and stock control all need for strong Excel skills.
The ability to drive a forklift and/or operate a corporate vehicle for deliveries and pickups is a plus for this position, as is a valid driver’s license.

Duties of an Abu Dhabi-Based Logistics/Warehouse Officer:
Manage and keep track of the supply chain’s activities.
Make sure you have enough stock to match client demand
Maintain stock and handle inventory management
Responsibility for handling and preparing foreign orders
To oversee the customs clearance process
Maintain a system of routine stocktaking and reporting
Check that you’re in compliance with all regulations and documents
Do your reporting and analysis in Excel, and do it well
Job Requirements for Logistics/Warehouse Officer, Abu Dhabi:
Have completed secondary school or above
No more than one year of work experience in a warehouse or logistics role
Superior ability to plan ahead and prioritise tasks
The ability to function effectively in a group setting
Superior verbal and interpersonal abilities
Ability to think critically and solve problems
Knowledge of the UAE is a must
Proficiency in working quickly and efficiently under stress
Possessing a license to drive and/or operate a forklift is a plus
