Duties in Specification:
- Track and update shipment statuses, ensuring all deliveries are made in good condition while maintaining accurate and up-to-date files and documents.
- Handle all customs clearance processes for both imports and exports, including freight forwarding by sea and air. This includes a strong understanding of E-clearance submission and SG account pending submissions.
- Implement customs clearance activities such as monitoring incoming shipments, managing document transactions, and handling day-to-day related tasks in alignment with company objectives and procedures.
- Prepare and process various types of bills of entry.
- Communicate and follow up with external suppliers as needed.
- Collaborate with airlines, shipping lines, and overseas agents to secure competitive rates and services.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by superiors.
- Conduct site visits to seaports, warehouses, cargo collection points, Customs, etc., as required.
Abilities and Skills Request:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics and freight forwarding.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all carriers, including sea, air, and land, for both import and export operations.
- Familiarity with import/export air/sea/export customs declaration processes.
- Ability to endure hardship, handle hard work, and manage stress effectively.
- Strong team spirit and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Leadership skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
