Duties of a Front Desk Clerk in Dubai in the Year 2023:
Guests’ inquiries are addressed by: As the initial point of contact for guests and visitors, you should be well-versed about the amenities and services offered by the hotel.
Your primary duty will be to answer incoming calls and transfer callers to the relevant department or employee.
You will be expected to adhere to all check-in/check-out, payment processing, and customer service regulations and procedures as outlined in the company’s manual.
Responsibility for checking visitors in and out of the hotel, including completing all required documentation and attending to customers’ specific requests and requirements.
Taking care of the guest’s every need: During their stay, guests may come to you with a variety of requests, such as for more amenities, room service, or repairs to be made.
Reserving taxis, rental vehicles or shuttle services for visitors may fall under your purview of responsibilities as a host or hostess.
Your job is to make visitors feel at home and give them a great image of the hotel and its employees by providing them with a memorable experience.
As the initial point of contact for guests, you should always have a nice and outgoing grin on your face and make an effort to make them feel welcome.
