Job Description for Coffee Shop Head Barista:
As the Head Barista, you will be critical to the seamless operation of our flagship location. Your knowledge of how to make outstanding coffee, together with your leadership abilities, will help us maintain our high standards and ensure client happiness. This is what the job includes.
Responsibilities for Coffee Shop Head Barista:
Use your minimum of three years of experience as a head barista to guide and mentor the barista crew.
Oversee all elements of coffee making, customer service, and overall experience at the flagship branch.
Maintain our established standards and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Collaborate closely with coffee roasters and management to ensure a smooth operation and the delivery of high-quality products.
Orders for Junior Baristas and wait staff must be coordinated to guarantee a smooth and great client experience.
Manage inventories and orders for stock and coffee supplies efficiently, helping to the smooth flow of operations.
Take control of coffee machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal operation and hygiene.
Service spaces should be organized as needed to ensure an aesthetically pleasant and effective environment for both staff and clients.
Play a key role in teaching and establishing standards for Junior Baristas and Wait Staff, fostering an environment of excellence and continual progress.
Monitor and maintain hygiene and cleaning standards across the branch with a sharp eye for detail.
Qualifications for Coffee Shop Head Barista:
A minimum of three years’ experience as a head barista in a leadership role.
Proven ability to effectively lead and manage a team.
Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to quality standards.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders are required.
Language skills in both English and Arabic.
Passion for coffee and a thorough mastery of various brewing procedures.
Inventory control and stock management knowledge.
Previous experience working with coffee roasters is preferred.
