Job Responsibilities for Meat Packager:
Your contributions as a Meat Packager are essential to the efficient running of our factory. Although experience is not essential, we will make sure you have all the training you need to do well in this role. The following are some of your duties.
Moving components, completed goods, and packaging to their respective destinations.
Putting ingredients in the hoppers of mixers and grinders after having measured them.
Constructing containers by feeding folded cardboard into formers.
Taking completed containers off of moving belts so they can be processed further.
Filling bags, cartons, or other containers by hand with products and placing them in a predetermined order.
Helping to load and unload processing equipment.
Performing fundamental quality inspections of items and packaging to spot flaws.
Helping those in charge of process control and machine operation do their jobs.
Additional Information:
This employment requires the employee to stand for long periods of time and do repetitive duties. The position calls for someone with strong manual dexterity and the capacity to lift up to 9 kg (20 lb). Steel-toed safety boots are required for your protection.
